The powertrain lineup of the Super Duty includes two available transmissions and three available engines. The standard 6.2L flex-fuel V8 gasoline engine offers impressive power, but if you want best-in-class power with your Super Duty, we suggest the available 7.3L OHV PFT V8 gas engine or the available 6.7L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel engine. The 7.3L V8 gas engine has best-in-class 430 hp and best-in-class 475 lb.-ft. of torque. The diesel engine delivers 1,050 pound-feet of torque and 475 horsepower.
The Super Duty comes with a TorqShift G six-speed automatic transmission or Torqshift 10-speed automatic transmission. The six-speed transmission is paired with the 6.2L engine in the F-250 Super Duty, and the 10-speed transmission is featured with the remaining models.
