There are two engines that are offered with the Ford Explorer. The 2.3L EcoBoost is available with 4WD and the Class II Trailer Tow Package, and it can produce 280 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque. The 3.5L Ti-VCT engine can optimize performance across every driving range of the power band to meet driving conditions. This engine can crank out 290 horsepower and 255 lb.-ft. of torque.
The Explorer is also equipped with the Terrain Management System. This provides you with four drive settings that include snow, gravel, grass, or snow for optimal performance on any terrain.
