Ford recently announced that the Ford Mustang, which has always been phenomenally popular here in the U.S., is now the top selling sports car in the world.
The uptick in worldwide popularity is thanks to a new export program Ford started. The Mustang, which was previously only available in the United States, is now for sale in 144 other countries. Given how many the company is now selling overseas, we'd say the export program is a success.
