The 2018 Ford Mustang GT has some great stuff going on under its hood. Its 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine, for instance, can produce 460 horsepower, 420 pounds-feet of torque, and 7,500 RPM. It also has a 10-speed automatic transmission and a six-speed manual transmission.

The real gem of the GT's feature package, however, may be Ford's new Drag Strip mode. When Drag Strip mode is active, the GT will maintain high levels of torque while the automatic transmission shifts gears. This improves acceleration so you pick up speed faster.
